Phenibut

Derived from the neurotransmitter GABA, phenibut elevates hormone levels required for sound sleep, and promotes nerve signal transmission efficiency.

Description

Phenibut is part of a class of supplements known as nootropics, a term derived from the Greek words noos, or “mind,” and tropein, meaning “to bend/turn.” Besides its nootropic properties it is also a known anxiety reducer.

Benefits

  • Used to treat many neuroses, including post traumatic stress disorder and insomnia
  • Improves intellectual functioning and physical strength
  • Reduces fatigue for neurotic and psychotic patients

Safety Notes

One should be aware of potentially harmful drug interactions when taking phenibut. It decreases the threshold dose and potency of certain drugs, while amplifying the effects of anesthetics, such as ether, chloral hydrate, and other barbiturates, along with diazepam, alcohol, and morphine. It should not be consumed with other opiates and GHB.

Persons on MAO inhibitors or epilepsy medications, such as carbamazepine or oxcarbazepine, should consult with their psychiatrist/physician prior to taking a supplement containing phenibut.

As always, Orovo recommends that all our customers consult a physician before taking any new health supplement blend.
