Goji Berries
Wolfberry, or the more commonly known Goji Berry, has become well-known as a "super-fruit" due to its medicinal and healing qualities.
Description
The Goji berry has been used for hundreds of years, possibly as far back as 2,800 B.C.E., by the Chinese emperor Shen Nung, for its medicinal properties. Tibetan traditional medicine has been using Goji Berries to treat liver and kidney problems for centuries. Tibetans also believe that these berries help in lowering cholesterol and blood pressure, and assist in cleansing the blood.
